Book design is the art of incorporating the content, style, format, design, and sequence of the various components of a book into a coherent whole. In the words of Jan Tschichold, book designer, "methods and rules upon which it is impossible to improve, have been developed over centuries. To produce perfect books, these rules have to be brought back to life and applied."
Visual aids are often used to help audiences of informative and persuasive speeches understand the topic being presented. Visual aids can play a large role in how the audience understands and takes in information that is presented. There are many different types of visual aids that range from handouts to presentations. The type of visual aid a speaker uses depends on their preference and the information they are trying to present.
Each type of visual aid has pros and cons that must be evaluated to ensure it will be beneficial to the overall presentation. Before incorporating visual aids into speeches, the speaker should understand that if used incorrectly, the visual will not be an aid, but a distraction.

I was asked to shoot a photo pool for Zeag Energie AG, capturing people, landscapes and drone pictures along the way. We ended up turning it into a full visual concept for the company, from shooting to post production.

For TransnetBW we developed a visual concept that has shaped the brand’s visual language over many years and continues to evolve over time. The series explores the energy infrastructure running through the landscape of Baden Württemberg, from power lines and towers to substations and technical environments. Light, scale and structure define the imagery, translating this complex network into a clear and consistent visual identity.

Created for Schock in collaboration with designer Michael Schad, this series explores product presentation through constructed miniature worlds and highly stylized compositions. Each setting was developed as an individual visual environment, combining color, material and spatial detail to frame the products in an unexpected way. The photographs move beyond classic product imagery and use scenography to create playful, graphic and design driven narratives.

Developed for TenneT, the series explores how energy infrastructure appears within landscape and light. High voltage lines, substations and service environments are photographed as spatial structures that define the horizon while remaining largely invisible in everyday perception. Natural light and open composition create a calm visual language that translates technical systems into atmospheric images.

For Mateco, a broad visual library was developed across everyday operations, technical detail and working environments. The series combines documentary observations with structured corporate imagery, showing service processes, equipment and employees in real working situations. The aim was to build a versatile visual archive that supports consistent communication across digital and printed media.
